On Dec. 11, Kyle Busch announced plans for his foray into Camping World Truck Series team ownership.

"It's a fun deal for me to race in the Camping World Truck Series," Busch said, adding that the Truck Series was one of his favorite series to race in.

Busch's Kyle Busch Motorsports team will field two trucks full-time in 2010. Tayler Malsam will pilot one of the trucks, sponsored by Talking Rain (a beverage company) and Busch and Brian Ickler will split time in the other, sponsored by Miccosukee.

"To drive for him is just going to be awesome," Malsam said.

Veteran crew chief Rick Ren, the reigning Camping World Truck Series champion crew chief with driver Ron Hornaday and Kevin Harvick Inc., is the new team's Director of Competition.

"It's very exciting for me to be put in this position," Ren said.

The team will eventually operate out of a shop currently under construction in Mooresville, N.C. Until the team's permanent hope is completed, it will operate out of the former Xpress Motorsports shop.

While plans are already set for two full-time teams, KBM has veteran driver Johnny Benson waiting in the wings to possibly drive a third KBM entry. If additional sponsorship is obtained Busch plans to expand to three full-time entries to get Benson back in the Truck Series.

"We'd love to have a third full-time truck for Johnny," Busch said.

KBM will field Toyotas, and according to Busch, the organization's goals for 2010 are for each truck two win a race, for Malsam to contend for the driver's championship, and for both trucks to contend for the owner's title.
