FORECAST: Weather actually has delayed NNS qualifying at Fontana because of fog. This could be a problem tomorrow morning but all in all not bad weather. There may be enough moisture for some drizzle as well fog Saturday night into Sunday morning but race should still get off and have mostly sunny skies. I have heard through twitter on my @NASCAR_WXMAN account that some Southern California residence were hoping that the rain we’ve had for many NASCAR weekends would follow the cars to California. Won’t be the case this weekend.

Look at it this way, at least there is no snow and cold or rainy weather like there is across a good part of the eastern US. Even the 3rd game of the NLDS against Philly & Colorado has been postponed in Denver because of cold & snow.
