FORECAST Update 10/30/2009 6:45 AM EDT: A cold front in Mississippi this morning will push east. There could be some shower and isolated storm developing later this morning and afternoon. There could be enough dry time to get some of the practices and qualifying in BUT there is enough of a risk that I wouldn’t be surprised if some got rained out.
Saturday will be the rainiest of the 3 days. This would have an impact on cup qualifying at noon on Saturday so points may be the way the Sprint Cup guys line up for the race. The rain could also rain out the Truck race later in the afternoon.
Sunday is a much nicer day, lots of sunshine no rain and pleasant fall temperatures.
