I’m Keeping Tonight’s Race Dry Despite Sct. Showers in the Forecast

FORECAST: This forecast is not completely cut and dry, I feel and think most of today and tonight will be dry but there is a very small possibility of an isolated showers and possible storm forming. I don’t think the likelihood is all that high and I think tonight’s race will be dry. The cold front has moved through but there is just enough instability in the air that leaves a little room for doubt. The National Weather Service this morning is still calling for a 30% chance of isolated showers and storms. If you read my previous post then you know I am not a big fan of percent chances and usually 30 percent or lower I throw it out because from my experience it usually won’t rain with that forecast. I am keeping it dry but maybe because of last weekend “NO RAIN” forecast and getting those very weak and light showers I am a little skittish about declaring a forecast 100% rain free unless it totally looks it.
